| Harty Ward | 24 beds - Specialises in caring for elderly patients who have mobility problems or are recovering from a stroke and need rehabilitation following a stay in hospital. | ||||
| Minster Ward | 24 beds - Patients whose GP has arranged admission. | ||||
| Patient Affairs Officer | Help with general advice and queries as well as reimbursement of travelling expenses. | ||||
| Hospital Radio Swale | Run by volunteers and broadcasts throughout Sheppey Community Hospital as well as Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital) through bedside headsets or speakers in the day rooms and other patient areas. | ||||
| The Hospital Shop | Also run by volunteers and is open regularly during the week. The shop sells a wide range of snacks, drinks and toiletries as well as visiting the wards with trolley to deliver newspapers, etc. | ||||
| The Sheppey League of Friends | Raises funds for the Hospital. | ||||
| Chaplains | Visit the wards; providing spiritual support port for staff; patients, their relatives and friends. Please let a member of staff know if you wish to speak to one of our Chaplains. |
